Think it.
Build it.
Higher education, government, healthcare — I've worked the field, and I build the software myself, from requirements to release.
TypeScript / Next.js · Python · Rust / Tauri · Claude & OpenAI API

That's how each of these started: a real problem, turned into working software.
ResearchMatch
MVPFeed in a company's challenge statement as-is, get back researchers with matching expertise. Industry-academia matching powered by vector search, not keyword matching.

PDF Masker
LiveRedact the same field across hundreds of same-format PDFs in one batch. Instead of drawing boxes over text, it rasterizes each page and removes the text layer entirely.

Sheet ToolBox
LiveA desktop app bundling sheet extraction, macro removal, and sheet merging. Fully offline, built for workplaces that can't send files outside.

Chiapuru
I bring that field perspective into everything I build: Python, TypeScript, Rust. Planning, building, shipping, and running it, I handle the whole loop myself.

What I Do
Tool Development
I build and ship web and desktop apps, starting from real friction I hit in the field. TypeScript / Next.js, Python, Rust / Tauri. Usually starting with something I need myself.
Writing & Publishing
I write up what I learn while building, the research, the dead ends, the fixes, on the blog. I also cover higher-ed DX and AI trends in a weekly newsletter.
AI & LLM Implementation
I put Claude API / OpenAI API, embeddings, and RAG into real products, not demos. ResearchMatch's vector search is one example.
DX & Process Automation
I've seen how work actually flows inside universities, government, and healthcare. That experience sometimes turns into consulting: designing and building process improvements end to end.
I also take on consulting and technical advisory work. Details here.
Why I Build
We back the people who dare to try.
Connecting people, knowledge, and opportunity, so anyone can take the leap.
For researchers, companies, and students trying to create value that doesn't exist yet, we connect knowledge and opportunities that would otherwise stay buried. ResearchMatch and the weekly newsletter are both extensions of that same idea.
